Sunnybank hosts a showing extravaganza on the 18th Sept . Day time classes culminating in evening performances. Entries close 4th Sept. Postal entries only.
Classes for everyone. You do not have to be a member of any society to compete.

Top ten from the day time classes will go forward to evening performances.
THis is our Welsh version of the Horse of the Year show. If you have qualified for HOYS then this could be a practice run out. If you have not qualified then this is your mini hoys.

On the 14th August Sunnybank is hosting area qualifiers and Regional Olympia qualifers for veterans.
You can qualify in the morning and then enter for the Olympia qualifier in the afternoon.
Entries can be made on the day. Or by post to be received by Wed 11th Aug.

The first of our winter hunter trials will take place on 11th Sept. Schedule will be released shortly.

we are also running a series of team show jumping competitions which have been very kindly sponsored by AUTOSTOP. At the end of the series the teams with the highest points in all classes will receive a big Challenge shield in order for names of the teams to be put on.This will be displayed in the arena and small shields or cups will be given to all winners to keep. The next team competition is on 28th August.

The WELSH CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW JUMPING final is on 3rd October. Only those registered on the points board will be eligible for Championship prizes. Other competitors may enter on the day, but only those who have paid their registration will be eligible to win Championship sashes and prizes.

BHS Qualifier hunter trials 9th Oct.

The Eventers Challenges final is planned for the 16th Oct . Anyone can enter, but only those on the points board will eligible for the championship sashes on the day. Other competitors will be given normal prizes.
Sunybank are planning a series of indoor eventers challenges to run during the winter months.

Sunnybank Equestrian Centre has an indoor arena measuring 60m x 30m and we also now have a covered warm up arena. So no more getting wet working in .There is a large car park which is adjacent to the main arena .
This new facility will also be available for hire by the day or hour, Ideal for club events and flat clinics or lessons.

The seating gallery is now complete and we are able to seat 300 people.
We are welcoming ideas from all our competitors as to who they would like to do a demonstartion so please let us have your ideas.We do have William Fox-pitt booked for Nov Date to be confirmed so watch this space.

Sunnybank Equestrian Centre is the only indoor centre dedicated as a competition centre. The 30 x 60m arena hosts dressage and show jumping competitions for both novices and affiliated riders. We also have outdoor facilities, which enables us to run both indoor and outdoor events.

We have events planned throughout the year and dates of events are available in the form of an omnibus schedule within our events section.

Sunnybank has been established now for over 4 years, and the centre is now well and truly on the map.

All types of equestrian events are held at Sunnybank for both the amateur and proffessionals alike.

sunnybank also runs qualifying rounds for UK Riders (show jumping and dressage) Trail Blazers and our own Welsh Championships for show jumping and dressage and our grand final.We also hold British Show Pony Society (BSPS) inc Chaps qual , Ponies UK inc BSPA qual. Adjacent to the purpose-built indoor facility is a flood lit, all weather warm up arena and Sunnybank boasts excellent parking facilities for all size of vehicle! At every event there will be catering facilities .


Proprietor judge and regular competitor Terinna Pesci-Griffiths and her husband David see the facility as a real benefit to Equestrianism and to tourism in the area.
